The IAPF feature again in this 60 Minutes special. Damien Mander and Simon Beart, using unmanned drones in Mozambique's Niassa Reserve in an effort to help the Lugenda team curb the elephant poaching. 

Damien had seen the effects of drones on the battlefields of Iraq and asks the question, "If they are good enough for soldiers then why not for conservationists?"

cbDamien Mander of the IAPF features on South Africa's Carte Blanche. In the story he demonstrates the use of an unmanned drone equipped with thermal imaging for anti-poaching operations. He also speaks about the possible lifting of the ban on trading in rhino horn. Click here to view the story.



Damien appeared on the popular Australian news and current affairs tv show 'The Project'. He discussed the hardships that the rangers on the ground face on a day to day basis and even had a shot at Elle Mcpherson for advocating the use of rhino horn.
