Education plays a significant role in deterring and combating the destructive nature that poaching and poachers are having on the world’s most sacred wildlife and environments. Given that poaching and trafficking of wildlife is now the 3rd largest criminal industry in the world, successful education of all children will bring about a more caring and philanthropic citizen.
To achieve this, the IAPF has sourced a dedicated ‘Education Committee’ of teachers and teacher aides to research, produce and deliver outstanding resources and training for global game rangers, domestic and global school teachers and support to the subsistence communities of the world.
The resources and training of the IAPF 'Education Committee' will:

The global task of the IAPF ‘Education & Training Committee’ has been to develop elite educational training and instructor teaching techniques and manuals for the IAPF Game Ranger Training Course’s held in the IAPF’s Academy’s in Africa. Headed up by JC Strauss this standard sets the benchmark for training - whats different about our training is that it's free.
The domestic task of the IAPF ‘Education Committee’ has been to address and develop support lesson plans and resources for school teachers of geographical syllabuses at the primary and secondary, domestic and global levels by February 2012.
High school geography students from Rose Bay Secondary College (Sydney Australia) have been studying 'Geographical Issues' such as 'Threatened Habitats' (Rhino Poaching). Each student created 3 minute movie as part of their overall assessment to demonstrate their deep understanding of the issue.
